Ep.83: This ISN’T a Free Country, Snortin’ Whiskey, and Black Rifle Coffee in Hot Water Again?

Welcome to Episode 83 of the LSLF Podcast, the show were we talk about whatever trips our Freedom triggers.  Our whiskey of the week starts off rather strange, but it turns into a fun show.  We talk about whether we could still consider this a free country, and what would happen if we all just decided to stop paying taxes.  Then we have a conversation about Biden giving away our nations sovereignty to the World Health Organization.  Jesse has a rant about people who constantly complain about sending thoughts and prayers to people involved in tragedies.  Then we lighten things up a bit and chat about the legendary John Daly and his crazy life.  And we close out the show talking about Black Rifle Coffee Company and how they're in hot water yet again.

Gears n Beers Ep 57: Gun Owners and Inflation, IWI Masada Slim Pistol, and NFA eForm 4s

Welcome to Episode 57 of Gears n Beers, the live segment of the LSLF Podcast, where we talk about gear we love, gear we hate, industry news and whatever else makes our Freedom flags stand at attention!  This week we have the usual crew, as well as Ethan from Crossroads Shooting Sports on to talk about the new eForm system for NFA items.  We then dive into GunCon '22, happening here in Iowa in June, as well as the new pistol from IWI, the Masada Slim, a promising little subcompact pistol from the reputable company.  

Allen West has been nominated to be the Executive Vice President of the NRA to replace the current worthless one, Wayne LaPierre, and we chat about whether this is likely to happen and if the NRA can be saved.  We rarely talk about Strike Industries on the show, but Johnson brings up the Ambush Mount, a product from them he finally approves of.

And lastly, we talk about how inflation is affecting gun owners and many people's inability to accept the fact prices are going up to stay.   On that same note, Grey Man Tactical is slashing prices to help their customers deal with this inflation.

Ep.82: The Ministry of Truth, Elon Makes the Twitters Great Again, and I Support 2A ”But”

Welcome to Episode 82 of the LSLF Podcast, the show where we talk about whatever tickles our Freedom bone!  This week on the show, Box decides to mix every single whiskey we've ever tried into one glass and calls it the yard sale.  It's not as bad as you may think, but it does end up creating an interesting rest of the show.  We talk about Biden creating the Misinformation Governance Board, and we all, especially Johnson, has one heck of an issue with it.  Then we chat a little about Elon taking over Twitter and the ridiculous response to it.

Gears n Beers Ep 56:The Govt is Not Your Babysitter! and CAA Agada Rifle

Welcome to Episode 55 of Gears n Beers, the live segment of the LSLF Podcast, where we talk about gear we love, gear we hate, industry news and whatever else trips our Freedom triggers!  Tonight we talk about the CAA Agada rifle, with a totally new way to hold a rifle, and quite frankly we think it's a bit ridiculous.  Then we talk a little bit about vein recognition, as opposed to traditional fingerprint scanners on gun safes.

The ATF admits in their most recent "ruling" that ARs are one of the most common rifles in America.  And according to the Heller Supreme Court decision, they've made it clear that "commonly used firearms" are covered by the 2nd Amendment.  And we quickly cover the acting ATF director being demoted.

Our main topic is the Government is Not Your Babbysitter!  And we close out with talking about the Army's new choice for carbine rifles and machineguns from Sig Sauer.

Ep.81: Food Plants Burning, Who’s Really the Radicals, and Sometimes You Need Punched in the Face

Welcome to episode 81 of the LSLF Podast, the show where we talk all things Freedom!  Today on the show we talk about the crazy winds that have been ravaging Iowa while we sip on our whiskey of the week.  Then we dive in the posts going around about all the food processing plants burning down.  Is there something to it, or is it the normal rate of fires in the nations many plants?  And how can we prepare ourselves to lessen any effects on us?

Then we have a conversation about "radicals."  What is a radical, and who are they really?  Are we radicals?  Turns into a great conversation.  Then we talk a little about Mike Tyson punching a guy on an airplane and we come to the conclusion, many times people need to be punched in the face.  And lastly, we close out the episode by talking about all the Russian oligarchs who just happen to committing suicide.
